Drove to Green Bay to get my Labs done last week, thinking how good things have turned out for me during this outbreak. You know, not needing to drive to Milwaukee 3 out of 4 weeks to get the chemo by infusion. That’s because my numbers went down and the Doc and I were planning to come off of that a month later than we did due to Corona.
Well, the numbers ticked back up a little so Doc wants me to get back on the juice. While I’m hoping it’s just for the month we’d planned on anyway, I suspect it might be a few more to make up for our arrogance, lol. And I guess it’s a good thing because my bucket of podcasts is overflowing. I won’t be doing the DAV ride though. Not sure when I’ll be able to do that again.
Feeling okay though tired a lot and all of my joints make noise. Gettin’ old.
I’m told next week it could be in the 70’s or 80’s here. It snowed last week. We’ll see. A few of the trees are budding, some have small leaves. That’s a good sign.
Strung up a dipole antenna for the CB and some Amateur Radio frequencies. No matter what’s going on outside, ham radio is something you can do just about anywhere. Some clubs are conducting Zoom meetings in lieu of regular meetings. Not ours – we’re doing it over the airwaves. Old School. And I kinda like it that way.
