Well, it’s been just over a week since they pulled all my teeth, and the healing process has been grueling. Yesterday was especially aggravating.
The pain meds described as “the good stuff” ran out a few days ago, so I’ve been using my normal pain meds to try and mitigate the pain. Hasn’t really worked that well, but today’s been okay so far. I really don’t like being on meds (says the guy who has a ginormous pill box).
Right now, I’m a few hours past my pain pill time – I’m going to see how long I can go. I’ve got a dental clinic and chemo appointment Friday, hopefully everything’s healing to their satisfaction.
I do so miss my ability to speak without sounding like Elmer Fudd though. Maybe I’ll get some dentures soon. 🙂
