I’m convinced that I may have the shortest period of remission in recorded history, LOL! As I’d said yesterday, I had to come back in today for labs. Well, turns out the cancer is spiking – so it’s back to the ole drawing board.
I’ve got another mini-vacay at Froedtert while they give me fluids to drop the calcium and run tests to make sure I can tolerate the chemo – which we’ll use to kill the cancer for a bit while we look at options. Doc thinks the CAR-T therapy might be the way to go. That’s the one I’d hoped to get in the first place. 🙂
So with any luck, I’ll be here until Tuesday, get the first round of chemo, then it’s back to probably weekly trips for treatment until I’m approved for the CAR-T. Or whatever we come up with. If nothing else, it makes my insurance decision easier. Here are some fun pics & commentary.
