Had my regularly scheduled follow up with Dr Dhakal, we’re now 2 months out from treatment.
My calcium is way high at 14, it should be 10 max. So I get to hang out awhile and get some fluids, a shot and some IV meds to knock it back down.
Since today was ‘surprise’ day, I decided to extend the theme to my lunch/snack. I ordered the soup of the day and seasonal dessert and my nurse coopperated by not revealing the meal before it came. Turns out I got Mexican Tortilla soup and chocolate cake. Couldn’t have picked a better combo myself. I should buy a lottery ticket on the way home!😜
