I’m going to file this under “didn’t see that one coming”. 🙂
So, Doc wants to put me on medicine to strengthen my bones. Before he can do that, I have to undergo a dental screening – during which they find bone loss around many of my teeth. (I’d lost bone in my hips too, but they fixed that with the screw & glue procedure). This is a problem because after taking the medicine, dental work can be difficult, even dangerous.
Resolution? Before going on the meds, pull all my teeth. Yep. All of ‘em.
Good news is I get to keep’em for a few more weeks anyway.
Even with this, I count myself fortunate. Praise God. 🙂
P.S. (They’re going to do this in the operating room under general anesthesia, so keep those prayers coming, please)!
