So I got to see Dr. Levin yesterday and got my labs taken care of. All the numbers came back good, the chemotherapy is working well, and we’re going to drop one of my medications which should help build up my white count faster.
We talked a few minutes about the irritation of the PICC line in my arm, and he didn’t seem too concerned, (the swelling went down and there were no other complications) so I won’t be either.
I’m going in bright and early tomorrow oh, actually have to be there by 6 a.m. and the port should be installed before my first appointment at 10 a.m. I’ll keep you updated.

LOL…
This one didn’t quite go as planned either. Neutropenic again, so the risk of infection during the port installation procedure is too high. Back to the mask in public, vigilance in food prep, cleanliness, etc. so I can build back the numbers. Or at least not drop lower. 😐
