I’m getting caught up, posting an update on the same day! 🙂
I’ll be leaving out for Tennessee again in a few days, and my checklist is coming together nicely. It was good to have this little break and be even better prepared for the next leg of this journey. Robin will be home for a bit so my son, brother and sisters can tag-team being my caretaker for a few weeks. I look forward to seeing them again.
The neck bandage can come off tomorrow, yay!
Today I’ve been working again, simultaneously making sure my clients are covered this month, and getting my own business ready for the new year. It really feels sometimes like this stupid cancer is another job I have to show up for and prove myself over and over. Thing is, I’ve got it easy compared to some of the other guys going through this. I’ll ask you for your prayers on their behalf as well.
The animals have been enjoying my company today. I think they really missed us, Cheenut is inside more often than not, which is unusual for her, and Google has been my constant companion, offering the occasional grumphh of disdain while I pay attention to the screen instead of him. 🙂
