About Ken Ivey
My story
I’ve always had a thing with Technology. In fact, I named a company MidTN Technology. And it wasn’t really the tech, but what was made possible. As the web matured, I was able to show people how to do some pretty amazing things. That’s how I picked up the title “Web Czar”
A long time ago – way before Prodigy, AOL and other online graphical interfaces – in fact before the web was the web, and in an age when the personal computer was out of reach for most Americans, I was employed by one of the first U.S. manufacturers of IBM clones. And Apple clones, for that matter. Indeed, a 286 Turbo processor was something to behold, and and a 386 – well, let’s just say you could buy a brand new car for the price of one of those bad boys.
I mention this to establish that this ain’t my first rodeo – I’ve been in the trenches for longer than most of my contemporaries have been alive, lol! So I’ve seen how things like form letters, fax machines, email and other technological advances we now take for granted have transformed not only how we do business – but how we do life.
Having said all of that, one of the reasons I love what I do is the unprecedented rate of improvement, development and new possibilities that await every single day. Nothing stays the same in the world of online marketing, except the principles that drive human behavior. And that suits me just fine.
I was born 50+ years ago in a little town near Ft. Benning Ga. Yes, I’m an Army brat. Growing up in an Army household was the perfect environment to adopt an appreciation for discipline, respect, honor, a work ethic, etc., even though as a child I didn’t display those characteristics very often. Just ask my siblings. 😉
Fortunately, as I navigated adulthood, and served in the Army both stateside and in Desert Storm, these traits have become second nature and now serve me well.
This is where I’m going to lose some of you, and that’s okay. You’ll come around eventually, lol. I’ve been a student of human relationships, you know, what drives us. It wasn’t really until my 40’s that I grew to seek understanding in other aspects of life – in reality the most important aspect, the relationship between ourselves and God
I’ve always taken a certain amount of satisfaction with my level of worldly knowledge, you know, receiving recognition and praise for my tech savvy, things like that. Funny thing is, I’m so much happier and at peace with life in general now that I know that Christ is my King and His plans are so much better than my own. 🙂

What can I do for you?
I get up in the morning to be of service to others. Truth. Tell me how I can help.
Marketing Consulting
You’d be surprised by how often we get to a certain level in our organizations, and it seems like we’re in a rut. Or the economy tanks. Perhaps some new legislation passes that negatively impacts us, or our best client shutters operations or relocates to Pennsylvania. Life happens, and it may help to look at our marketing with a fresh set of eyes.
In-House SEO Training
Are your staff members Rockstars at creating content that converts, but it just doesn’t get enough exposure? Or maybe your competitors currently have the better of you in the Search Engine Results Pages, and your budget doesn’t allow for a pricey big-city marketing agency? An in-house workshop might be just the boost needed to empower them to become marketing heros.
I am nothing if not efficient.
And it’s because I’ve developed processes for just about everything. By leveraging tools which enhance my systems, I’m able to expand my reach, helping more people, while saving time and resources. You can take a peek at some of those tools right here. Some are free (or have free versions) and others are not, but I’ve found them well worth it.
